Teng Wang Pavilion

Our group of nine families at the Pavilion.
Bell Ringing
Exchanging baby info inside the pavilion.
Teeny tiny shoes when foot binding was in fashion. Ellie couldn't even fit in some of the shoes.
One model of the pavilion as it was rebuilt by the rulers at the time.

Our guides, De and Alisha.

Shannon,
Words can not convey how truly excited I am for you and Ellie. I love the picture of her close up.
I realized that my friend is the god mother to Ann Katherine. What a small world it is. I gave her your blog so that she might catch a glimpse or two of Jennifer and Ann Katherine.
We leave two weeks from today. Not that I am counting......
Enjoy the rest of your trip.

Awwww, I love that pouty lipped picture! I'm quite certain that you will have to beat the boys away with a stick when Ellie gets older =)

LOL - Shannon the bath photos are future blackmail pictures but for now are oh so cute! Your trip brings back wonderful memories - Der looks wonderful - younger than ever - but where oh where is Helen?

Am thinking you should be leaving for Guangzhou soon -- you'll be leaving a piece of your heart in Nanchang as this is where your daughters heart began - - love this time - enjoy every moment and record as must as possible to share with Elena. She'll so appreciate it when she is a little older and you won't believe how fast she will grow. A piece of my heart is also in Nanchang - - wishing you well and many memories

Kathy, I'll let Der know! Helen might be guiding the other group in Guangxi. They left Monday and I hope to meet up with them for a day or so at the White Swan 'cause I have a friend in the group.
Jiangxi has some very special memories for us. At the same time, we are anxious to get to Guangzhou and we leave tomorrow, Ellie's birthday!!!
