Boston, Baby!

While de-wallpapering, singing along to my tunes and cursing yesterday, I had plenty of time for my mind to wander! One of the topics: The annual speech-language convention in Boston this November. Since I have, oh, a little bit of free time before traveling to China, I might as well get a big chunk of continuing ed points out of the way while going on a pseudo-vacation, right? Any suggestions of places of interest in between coursework?
Maybe I'll get lucky and run into Ga*ry Gu*lman! ;)

I've also started this new book, by Li*sa See. I read Sno*wflower over Christmas break 2005 just before my dossier was submitted and it was amazing. I'm hoping this one is just as good!

Last, but certainly most importantly, it's Hannah Day in China!! What beautiful pictures!

I've got my eye on that book, but I'm trying to crack the spine on A Thousand Splendid Suns by the author of the Kiterunner....

Uh, what book? I'm stuck on the picture above. Running into him would be way beyond lucky! Scrumptious if I must say so myself ;0)
