Sunflower Bullets

Finally figured out how to do a picture timeline of Ellie in the sidebar. Scroll down and check it out on the right hand side!

Congratulations to Charlotte and George on the birth of their daughter, Edith Rose!

Haven't blogged much as of late. Ellie was sick over the past weekend- wasn't eating or drinking, had a low fever and was not into everything like usual. She's on meds now and seems to be her active self again. Both Ellie's are exhausting! At least she's not waking up every hour, poor baby.

I got my new school year planner and today during Ellie's nap I got to fill it all out according to the school calendar. This has always been one of my favorite things to do!
This time I had to get the school calendar for the district I work in as well as the one Ellie's "preschool" will follow. She has a meet 'n' greet on September 9th and starts school two days later! Oh my! We have been so lucky to have my mom babysit her since I went back to work in February so it hasn't been as tough as some of the other families out there. Still, it marks a big leap for us so I'll post about it and probably tear up a bit as well!

RQ reports matching is going on which is very exciting for the next March friend I follow! Not long til last month's referrals get to travel despite the delay due to the trade fair, holidays, etc.

I don't think I mentioned that the last week in July Ellie and I got a new car! My brother helped me through the whole process (thank you!)and we just love our new ride! So much more room than the Jetta and has lots of cool upgrades as well! I am struggling daily to keep it nice and new i.e., no goldish cracker crumbs!

Spent a weekend with Matt's family to attend a family wedding and take a trip to Ced@r Po.int! Lots of fun and those roller coasters are incredible. I even went on the Dr@gster which has a vertical drop of 400 feet. It was great but the anticipation of it was HORRIBLE! Not sure I can get the courage up to ride it again!

Napping today. =)

Nah, Stephe, your timeline is much, much nicer! I think you have the latest blog template so it might be different? I looked up sidebar photos in Blogger Help and then typed dates using photoshop, loaded them to photobucket, resized them and copied/pasted them into the template. It was a late night! Enjoy your weekend!

Yay for a new vehicle. So nice to ride without the concern of the car and oh...the space! :o) I hear you about the goldfish crumbs. Hannah isn't even referred yet and I find myself wondering how I will handle snacks in the car.

Thank you so much for your support! It's fun, exciting and sureal to thing that Hannah's referral is ohsoclose!!

Heh...love the picture of Ellie's little diaperd butt. I fell in love with her panda outfit that had a similar pic earlier this year and hunted until I found it. Was finally successful in June when I was in CA visiting M3.

Your baby girl is so sweet! Congrats friend!! Hope she's feeling better soon.

Cute, cute cute! Love the new car. I also love filling out my school schedule...well, the non-work days that I have throughout the year! I pretty much did the exact thing re: daycare...my sister watch Eliza from Jan-June, had the summer off and Eliza started daycare. She had extreme separation anxiety though...sounds like Ellie is a little better adjusted than my girl was. Good luck with the beginning of your year!
