So it looks like I missed the cut-off. I kind of knew it would be a long shot but still. Just now though I went from self-pity to being totally ticked off. I emailed my SW (who is part of my agency) and asked if she could verify the cut-off. Her answer:
Yes it looks like the cut off was February 9, 2008. Perhaps the next group will come in time for Christmas. I am trying to be optimistic but it must be driving you nuts. We really thought after the Olympics referrals would pick up.

Um, excuse me be the 9th was LAST month. I know the China program is not open anymore, but at least be on top of referrals!! COME ON!!
My reply was short and simply pointed out the error; she is controlling my future referral and home visits after all. =)
Oh, her reply: You are kidding - by one day we missed it.

ugh - so there with you. blech. so, any clue as to what the cut-off was? did they only do 2/10 referrals??? where are we? any chance for november? ugh. blech. ugh.
Do we have the same SW? Mine emailed me a couple months ago wondering if I had received my referral already!

I guess part of the torture of the WAIT is the inept agencies and staff that we pay a huge amount of money to only to be going it alone.... Oh I am ticked right there with you! Thankfully I have some Norwegian chocolate to get me thru this difficult time.... so glad you can be enjoy some smooooooooth Sees slutty time.

2/15 for sure was in Shannon, my agency did referrals for the 15th-and one of my friends got her referral that had an LID of 2/15- so you are IN next month for SURE... it's got to feel good knowing this is your LAST month waiting. LAST ONE. You can do it girl!!
But for this day, you can feel poopy cuz you definitely deserve to... I will say this though, now I am going to feel so excited for you for November!!!!!

I'm sorry you missed it by one stinking day. It really sucks and I know you have to be upset. Hang in there and concentrate on how NEXT MONTH FOR SURE you will see your sweet baby's face. I hope it goes by super fast!
