26 months since LID
Instead of putting up a 26 picture, I thought I'd use the pictures of the 2nd month since LID and the 6th month since LID. Yeah, well...Looking back on Month 2, I guess I didn't think I needed to mark the occasion. Easter was all I needed to mention. Maybe at the time I thought counting down a measly 6-8 months was not that momentous??
As for Month 6, I must have gotten an inkling. Maybe I had chanced upon the RQ rumor blog by then and gotten a clue?!

And now... well, dang it.. I really hope it's almost over for you. I KNOW it's almost over... I predicted sometime back on one of your LID anniversary's that you would be in China in August.... I'm holding ya to it!!
I'm gonna ball like a big baby the day Ellie's picture is finally up front and center on this page!!! Happy 26!!
And yes... I do think we'd work well together.. great minds think alike!!! you of all people "Know" my kids better than anyone!!
Remember when an 18 month wait seemed like a long time?

Hello to you too! Of course I still check in and mark your progress. We did decide to close our file last summer. It was difficult but the right decision for us. I think of you often and apologize for not keeping in touch. I'll continue to watch and will be thrilled to see Elena!

Ahhh.... 26. I guess in the grand scheme of things, it is worth celebrating, coz you're alot closer to Ellie now, than you were at 6 months? Although, I'm sure we were still deluding ourselves, at 6 months, that it'd be a couple more months, til we see our kids?!!
