Cruisin'
Next month, my friend Mary and I are going to take a cruise!! It's a short, fairly inexpensive Western Caribbean trip and a great chance to get away before teaching summer school! We've both never been on a cruise before so advice/suggestions are welcome.
Today I received my Service Recognition Pin for 5 years within this school system. I've never stayed in one place so long before. I've always moved jobs, if not cities, every two years or so. And now with Elena on the way, I guess I'm here for awhile longer! Scary! Think I'll re-focus on that cruise again...=)

Oh, it sounds like so much fun!! I've never been on a cruise either. I hope to get Geoff on one before we get Lexi otherwise it may never happen.
A cruise sounds fabulous. I've never been on one before, so I can't offer any tips. Take sunblock!
And congratulations on your five years with your district. They're lucky to have you!
I went on a cruise a couple of years ago. It was really fun. No suggestions...just have a great time. I've been at my teaching job almost 5 years as well...a record for me too. Such a scary though to think I'll probably retire from this job!

I went on my first cruise last January. I loved it! My only advice would be to RELAX. There is so much to do on the ship's that sometimes I forgot to just relax...after all it is a vacation! Hope you have a great time!
