Local Article & Questions
The local paper now has a story on China's new "rules." I've met one of the families in the article and the two girls are darling!
With all the uninformed articles/programs out, how does one override the impulse to try and educate someone about IA and instead know that you don't have to explain why you chose what was best for your family? How do I get to that place?

I thought it was pretty accurate....considering, given other media, it could have been taken way out of context(!)
And...unless you are involved directly with IA, trust me, you just *don't* get it..IMHO.

Hi,
It certainly is a pretty sad time in the adoption community with ignorant media & the new CCAA rules!

You'll know how to answer just the right way when you are presented with questions, comments and concerns, it just really stinks to have the the nat'l media portraying IA in such a bad way. It certainly makes things more difficult.
Good question! When and if you ever get to that place in your place in your life please enlighten us will ya?
PS.Glad you liked the song I thought it was really sweet.

Hi Shannon! Catching up on blogs and I thought of you when I looked at the front of the Daily Press weekly TV sched. Sun. That is you on the cover isn't it? Actually, I share your frustration over CNN and Paula Zahn. Why do these show just jump in with both feet without knowing the true facts. Don't they realize how ignorant it makes them look. And I am not just talking about Chinese adoption issues. If you happen to know a little more than the public on any subject, it is so galling to see how misinformed they are. As long as we know what's going on, I guess it is up to us to reeducate the public. God bless. Sherry McCormick (Jennifer, Jenny's mom and Abby's meema.)
One of the better articles out there right now!!! Thanks for sharing it!!
Ohh and I had to listen to the "tune" for a bit.....one of my favourite movies!!
