Welcomed Surprises!
It has been a wretched day today. My car battery died, I was late for the second day of summer school, it rained and hailed (is that a word?) and after taking my Gracie to the vet I found out she needed ACL (knee) surgery on her *other* leg now. Soooo...
when I finally got to the mailbox, I was thrilled to discover wonderful gifts from Deb from Prince Edward Island!
The nail polish is GOTCHA pink!!! Love it! It's going on the toesies tomorrow! The plaque is so sweet- I can't believe you made it. How talented you are! The cd is amazing! Deb wrote that her pastor and his wife made this cd while they were waiting to adopt from China 12 years ago. Check out Deb's adoption benefit pictures (June 4th) on her site. Her friends' daughter Jenny sang the song written for her! It is a truly magical cd. Thank you so much for sharing it with me, Deb. You know you didn't have to. =) Your kind pressies certainly arrived on a day I need my spirits lifted!

Buffy had to have knee surgery when she was 10 months old - I think it was that type of surgery. She had bad knees (herititory condition) and the cartiledge was destroyed as she grew. She's doing so well these days, but will probably develop artrhritis in her knees as she ages. That was an expensive surgery, too.
