Next Best thing to Cheerios
These "rice cakes" taste sort of sweet and salty and the babies LOVED them. They were a good diversion from the cheerios when they need to hold and nibble something and when you were desperate to save cheerios for the plane rides, etc. Luckily I found them at our local Asian food store! Smaller bag, but heck, that one we bought in China could have lasted a month! Don't have access to turn the picture, sorry.
Tomorrow we have a visit ("show and tell"!) with friends from last years school and then "formal" picture taking in the afternoon to see if I can get some announcements out! Fingers crossed everything falls into place.

You have to know I would give a lot to be at that 'show and tell!'
Tell everyone hello for me and give Ellie a big hug.
How fantastic that you could find them locally!
Mali has always loved these - I still send them in her school lunches. Now that she's a little older, she enjoys the (Asian) little mini jello thingies, too. They're handy b/c I can stick them in my purse. Every few weeks we pop into the Asian store & stock up.
P.S. - good luck with the formal photos!! Can't wait to see them . . .
Visiting TME!?!?!?! I'm jealous! :-)
Looking forward to those photos, mama.
Hmm..I'll have to keep those cakes in mind. It seems my little chunker doesn't miss a meal so I bet these may be a hit.
eek! pls do NOT give those jello things to your kids--they were recalled by the FDA (and in Canada and AZ) as a choking hazard.

Good to know, but feel free to sign your name. =)
That is one thing we have not done; is find a good Asian store nearby. I am sure there is one...
