I'm reaching...

Yes, reaching for the panic button! It has finally hit me that I have two weeks left of my half day summer school job and my hour a day stint with a brain injured high school student.
Good grief, I have gotten NOTHING done since June!!
My to-do list, so prominently displayed on a whiteboard in my family room mocks me with it's lack of "lines drawn through finished activities". Aaaaghh! My garage still is a pile of school books and, let's face it, school junk that hasn't moved since I unloaded it on the last day of school. Avalanche! My goodwill is still willing it on the other half of the garage. Deplorable! My pictures, scrapbooks and every supposed I absolutely need to keep this memory memorabilia is still in a pile in my office floor. Inexcusable! My ambitious goal of setting up a new and improved method to track my student's progress? Phhlttt! My training for the half marathon in three weeks? Non-existant!
Headless-chicken-mode-fast-approaching.
Breathe. In. Out.
Ok, on the other hand, kudos to me for eating, sleeping and reading RQ my way through Summer 2008!
Who am I kidding? PANIC!!!

Fear not...you'll get through what you need to get through. Then you'll be a mama and get NOTHING done but won't care a bit ;0)

I hav a similar list & always have BIG plans of catching up over the summer. Funny thing, when I'm not at work I find myself completely unmotivated. Not sure why it happens, but it always does . . .

Enjoy your last 2 weeks - I go back tmrw =/

I'm sorry but this is funny--- I do not have a to do list written out, but have a ton of things to do that is all non-adoption related. I still wake up each and every morning with the hope that I will get it together enough to accomplish ONE THING.

Hugs
Lisa
