Crib or Toddler Bed???

Crib or Toddler Bed?? I am trying to figure out which would be best. I've requested an infant ayap (0-12), but an infant in China is considered 0-24 months. Plus with the delay in referrals, do you think the children going to be referred are going to be older in general? I know the cribs can change into a toddler bed...but they are still pretty high off the ground. Hey, a mommy-to-be has to keep her mind busy during these forever waits! Any recommendations?

I'm going to purchase a convertible crib. That way, the bed can work for a baby or toddler - up to 3 or 4 years old. A friend from work has one for her son, and they've recently converted it to the toddler bed. She's happy with it. Have you considered co-sleeping? I'm just beginning to consider that. If the baby is sleeping with me, though, why would I need a crib for her? Decisions, decisions...

I have been wondering the same thing. I already have a crib but was wondering if I should buy crib bedding and decorate the room based around that BUT, what is she is in a toddler bed? Should I buy bedding that you can get in both sizes and then maybe return the crib one if not needed. MY HEAD IS SPINNING!!!! :)

We already had one of the convertible cribs from my son and its currently up in the crib form, but I'm sure it will go directly to the toddler bed.
